Summer is finally here, and what better way to celebrate the start of the season than at the Royal Highland Show. Here at Elm of Burford, we couldn’t be more excited to attend the annual event at Ingliston in Edinburgh. Join us from Thursday 22nd to Sunday 25th of June at the event showcasing the best of food, farming and rural life for all the family.
First started in 1822 and now the biggest annual agricultural show in Scotland, the Royal Highland Show attracts 190,000 visitors, 1,000 exhibitors and 4,500 livestock every year.
The show has something for everyone, from competitions to shopping, live music and delicious food. A range of livestock is exhibited including sheep, cattle, goats, horses, donkeys and poultry. Meanwhile the event is a showcase of the best rural and agricultural products and produce, and even has indoor spaces dedicated to shopping, food and drink. What’s more, exciting display events and competitions include sheep shearing, show jumping, driving, tug-of-war, dog obedience trials, forestry, falconry and even axe throwing.
We can’t wait to enjoy the best events, the buzzing atmosphere and the stunning location of the Royal Highland Show this June. Get your tickets here and come and find us at our stall in the shopping area where we’ll be offering our best ranges of country clothing and accessories.
We hope to see you there. WE WILL BE ON STAND 40C
