The Tablelands Hat
The Akubra Tablelands hat is an Australian classic, and part of a long-standing tradition for outdoor workers. It features a relaxed shape with wide-ranging appeal, and is comfortable to wear all day long.
The Tablelands sports a wide brim of 83mm with a bound edge, which slopes gently from front to back to provide protection from sun and rain. What’s more, comprising 100% rabbit-felt fur, all Akubra hats are water-resistant. The Tablelands is an ideal companion for outdoors work, whether rain or shine.
Like all Akubra hats, the Tablelands is crafted by hand in Australia. Taking six weeks to make, construction involves traditional processes that have hardly changed in 140 years.
Ideal for working, the Tablelands is unlined. Nevertheless, it features a supple internal leather sweatband, embossed with the Akubra logo in gold. The crown has three eyelet vents on each side, for improved ventilation. Finishing touches include an attractive woven leather hatband, as well as brass fittings.
This hat is tough and resilient while looking fantastic. Choose between two attractive but practical colours – Sorrel Tan and Brown Olive.
