Set in the beautiful grounds of Highclere Castle, the Highclere Country Show is an outdoor event with lots to see and do.
Promising a great day out for families with little ones, the Highclere Country Show has lots in store. In fact, getting kids out in the great outdoors is what Bank Holidays are all about, and there’s no better place to do this than at Highclere. All new for this year Highclere welcomes in a brand new Kids Zone to the event. From face painting, balloon modelling, a Punch & Judy Show and Gold Panning to a mini farm and the hilariously funny Mole Show, there’s a huge line up of family inspired fun and kid friendly features for the younger ones to enjoy.
For the older ones amongst us, Highclere also welcomes a brand new Food Festival complete with a Chefs Demo Area. Here foodies can watch professional Chefs Rachel Green, Tim Maddams and Gary McClure create some awe-inspiring, delectable dishes. Elsewhere amongst the Show, there’s a full line up of performances in the Realtree Main Arena, celebratory sounds from inside the Folk Roots Festival, a brand new Club Tent offering crafts and rural past times from clubs in and around the local area, plus qualifiers in the ever-popular Chudleys Gundog Championship, Terrier and Lurcher events and BASC Clay Shooting competitions.
We are at Stand E11 by the main arena near the bar.
